Home Trust of Ouray County is thrilled to share news of our next affordable housing initiative – an important preservation project in the City of Ouray. We are currently under contract to purchase a triplex, which we plan to renovate and expand into a five-unit affordable rental property. This transformation will increase the number of affordable homes available and help more community members stay rooted in Ouray.
We are in the due diligence phase now, with plans to close on the property in July. To make this project possible, we are working to raise $150,000 in local support to leverage additional State and local funding. Thanks to generous contributions, we’re are two-thirds of the way there – with just $50,000 left to raise.
