Andrea moved to Ridgway in 2014 and completed construction on a home with her husband in 2017. She has been an advocate of affordable housing and community sustainability since she joined the Ouray County Housing Committee in 2018. After attending Grounded Solutions Network’s 2018 annual conference on community land trusts, she has been committed to cultivating the CLT model in Ouray County. She has a certificate in nonprofit management and over three years of commercial real estate development experience in Ridgway.

Eva Henson brings a strong background in public administration, housing policy, real estate, and development, along with extensive experience working across sectors to address the complex housing challenges facing mountain and rural resort communities. Her career has centered on creating innovative, community-based housing solutions that balance immediate needs with long-term impact.
She has overseen the development of more than 300 affordable and attainable housing units—with additional projects in progress—while also shaping programs and policies that promote sustainable, community-centered growth. Eva’s work includes leading housing needs assessments, facilitating community forums, and collaborating with regional stakeholders and local governments to ensure housing initiatives are aligned with local demand.
With expertise in deed restriction management, program and policy design, compliance administration, financial oversight, and resident support services, Eva brings a comprehensive and practical approach to her role.
Her passion for affordable housing began in 2006 when she and her husband purchased their first home—a deed-restricted condo in Silverthorne, Colorado, which they owned for eight years. Living in a high-cost mountain town gave her firsthand insight into the housing barriers many residents face and inspired her to dedicate her career to meaningful, lasting solutions.
Amanda Gerhardt

Amanda brings deep expertise in affordable housing, nonprofit finance, and development—particularly across Colorado’s Western Slope. Prior to joining the Home Trust, she served as Executive Director for a Habitat for Humanity affiliate, where she led major organizational growth, tripling housing production and significantly expanding the organization’s financial capacity and assets. She also implemented strong financial and operational systems that enhanced long-term sustainability.
A Wyoming native with deep family roots on the Western Slope, Amanda has long been connected to the people and places that make this region special. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of South Dakota and is dedicated to helping families build stability and put down roots in the communities they call home. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, traveling, and staying engaged with her community.
Jennifer Turner
Events & Communications Coordinator

Jennifer Turner is a dynamic marketing professional and event producer with expertise in event production, strategic brand partnerships and project management. She excels in orchestrating large-scale programming, sponsorships, and immersive experiences that foster meaningful dialogue and innovation.
As Communications Coordinator Jenn supports HTOC’s communications efforts, public-facing materials, event preparation, communications and administrative functions. The role provides support to all departments across the organization as needed.
She is also the founder and CEO of Wild Acorn Wellness, where she integrates over a decade of experience in yoga, functional fitness and wellness retreats with her marketing expertise. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising & Public Relations and Spanish from Texas Christian University and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
