New Affordable Housing Project: “Hank’s Place”
We’re excited to share that Home Trust of Ouray County has purchased its fifth affordable housing property, a Triplex at 835 2nd Street in Ouray!
The 5,652-square-foot building will soon be converted into a 5-unit rental property, helping address the urgent need for affordable housing in our community.
Renovations have begun and will result in:
- 3 one-bedroom units
- 1 two-bedroom unit
- 1 three-bedroom unit
Once completed, the project, affectionately named Hank’s Place in honor of the sellers’ family members, Claudia Rebne’s mother Henrietta (“Hank”) and Greg St Clair’s grandfather Hank, will provide stable, affordable housing for approximately 12 residents in the heart of Ouray.
